The degree served the author well enough when he joined the Army, serving in Soviet Counterintelligence during the days of the cold war. The posting tested Tim Tigner’s skills, though the fall of the Berlin Wall drove the author to finally leave espionage behind in favor of arbitrage.

The change required the author to move to Moscow, a transition he successfully executed because his days with the US Special Forces and the Green Berets had forced him to learn Russian. In Moscow, Tim worked with multinational medical companies in an administrative capacity, climbing the ladder of success and eventually chairing the Association of International Pharmaceutical Manufacturers.

Tim’s reputation and renown at the time were such that he was involved in the crafting of the first couple of Healthcare laws and regulations in Russia. Tim has also been known to boast of his involvement with the MIR Space Station, though his work was primarily restricted to the cosmonauts.

Seemingly determined to run to wherever history was being made, Tim’s departure from Russia drove him to Brussels during the founding days of the European Union. His work with a company by the names of Johnson and Johnson allowed Tim to travel the world, traversing the Middle East and Africa.

His eventual stop in Silicon Valley finally grounded him, mostly because of the difficult work involved with starting New Medical Technologies.

Publishing did not come into the picture until 1996. Tim realized that, with the things he had seen and done, he had an abundance of stories in his brain waiting to explode onto the page. It took a while for the author to produce anything that anyone wanted to read.

The author’s first truly successful publishing attempt came in the form of Flash, a thriller that explores a mystery linking two people in Afghanistan and Los Angeles.

When Tim isn’t writing novels, he is going on adventures. Tim Tigner has done everything from climbing tall peaks to hang gliding from cliffs, skiing in Slovenia, running with Maasai Warriors and scuba diving to mention but a few.

The author also boasts a rich educational background that includes an MBA in Finance and Certification in International Studies. Tim has also studied psychology, radiology, and philosophy. There is little the author hasn’t explored in his rich life, and one can only expect this wealth of experience to manifest in the novels he will write.

Best Tim Tigner Books

For a man that has traveled as widely as Tim Tigner, it only makes sense for him to produce the sorts of novels that readers have come to love for their fast pace and innovative nature, with some of the best books from the author including:

Flash: Troy and Emma do not know each other. So it comes as a surprise when they wake up together, locked in the trunk of a car. Covered in blood, neither one remembers much about the most previous events, which is problematic because there is a dead cop in the trunk with them along with what might be the murder weapon.

Troy is stuck in 2001, certain that he is still in Afghanistan, taking on terrorists as a combat surgeon. For Emma, it is still 2002 and she is still wandering Los Angeles.

Neither of them knows how they suddenly got to the 2010s, and whether they are friends or enemies. They are especially confused about the Croatian Assassin that is out to kill them.

This Tim Tigner novel revolves around a man who loses all his money trying to get an innovative product off the ground. When he realizes that the product is faulty, he decides to put it to other more creative uses.

Coercion: There is a plan in place to elevate Russia’s status, returning it to its position as a Superpower. KGB General Vasily Karpov is leading the charge. Vasily’s plan involves forcing elite American operatives to betray their country by carrying out acts of sabotage. If that wasn’t enough, Vasily seems set on overthrowing the Kremlin.

Alex Ferris knows of Vasily’s objective. The former spy begins uncovering the clues necessary to reveal Vasily’s treachery even while fending off dangerous assassins.
