Tall, Dark & Dangerous Best Book

Prince Joe: Veronica St. John is facing hard times at the height of her career. The media advisor has two days to instruct a tough Navy SEAL to stand in for a European ruler who has been threatened by terrorists. It’s an intense task. However, Veronica is confident she is up to it – until the point when she meets Joe. In spite of his physical semblance to the great looking ruler, Lieutenant Joe Catalanofto is not at all like the stuffy privileged person. Everything about the hardened Navy officer – from the presumptuous sparkle in his eyes, the streetwise state of mind, to the New York twang – depicts a regular guy and not a prince.

One discussion and Veronica knows nothing could transform this military man into respectability. Joe is, however, self-assured that he has what it takes to perform his obligations. Neither of them anticipates that their task will include the beginning of a romance. Joe Catalanotto has taken his leave; he is casual, miles away from work and getting started on long days of fishing with his colleagues.

Everything changes when a jet approaches their watercraft drops a makeshift airlift and a voice reports to the Lieutenant that his fishing vacation is over. 24hours into his retreat, Joe ends up in Washington DC in the company of dignitaries, military bosses and a dashing media consultant. Following the premature death of the Prince of Ustanzia, Veronica St John has recently been given the unimaginable assignment of turning this tough New Jersey mariner into a Prince for the rest of his US visit. Presently while Joe might be the ruler’s doppelganger, it’s upon ‘Ronnie’ to guide him into appropriate royal mannerisms and protocol to pull this off.

The allure between these two heroes is rapid. However, Joe irritates Veronica since he does not appear to take the ‘Prince role ‘ seriously. As the two spend more time together, they develop feelings, and Veronica starts to see that Joe has a soft spot after all. He drops his guard and is willing to take a slug even for a stranger. A little while later Joe feels overwhelmed that he won’t be sufficient for her in light of his royalty status.

While Veronica tries not to begin to look all starry eyed at a man who will barely spend time with her and love her, as he ought to. Instead, he will be willing to fly around the world fighting and relishing every moment of his exciting life. The book gets excessively off-track in some sections, but Brockmann cunningly brings it back on track. It is an entirely decent, fast and sentimental tension story with some hot scenes and entertaining characters.

The “Rescue Me” saga by Kallypso Masters is a great one starting with Master At Arms. This novel begins with the tale of three men, each on a personal quest to feel validated and to reduce their anguish. Their fates cross during the darkest times of their lives. As they comprehend the future, forming a formidable bond, will they succumb to depression or emerge stronger than ever? Adam has an undeniable desire for Karla, and he is genuinely attracted to her. He was honorable and treated her with such care and love.

On Karla’s part, she was infatuated with Adam and could not hide her joy when around him. Damian rushed into a fling with Savannah after he rescued her from a terrible encounter. He lured her into sex instead of protecting her, though she liked it and never put his sexual advances off. Marc had the most trying time of his life, but he’s grateful he did not have to go through it alone. The three experience war and forge a great friendship through the book.
