Heather Graham Pozzessere is an accomplished best-selling American author. In the span of her writing career, she has authored over a staggering 150 novellas and novels, which have been published in about twenty five languages. Although mostly a romance author, Heather also writes novels of other genres such as mystery and horror stories. She has also authored some books under the pseudonym of Shannon Drake. In total, over 75 million copies of her books have been printed. It goes without saying that she is one of the most talented authors of all time.

Heather was born on the 15th of March in 1963 in the Miami- Dade County, Florida. She is 63 years old. She married Dennis Pozzessere a short while after graduating from high school. She then went to the University of South Florida, where she pursued a degree in theatre arts. Upon completion of her studies, she started working in a night theatre, as a backup singer and a bartender. It was a rough time for her, and she eventually quit work to be a stay- at- home mother. With so much free time in her hands, she took up writing to keep herself busy. Some of her earliest works were horror stories although she would later become a renowned romance author. Heather is married and is a mother of five.

Heather’s works are very diverse in nature. She has written romance, vampire fiction, occult, time travel, and Christmas books. She also creates characters with paranormal abilities, and does a great job at integrating their abilities to the day to day occurrences of life, which is not something that many authors can boast of.

Heather has won several prestigious awards, which is really no surprise given what skillful and talented an author she is. In 2003, she was given the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Romance Writers of America. She has also been awarded the Thriller Writer’s Silver Bullet for charitable enterprises. Cameron Saga: This books revolves around the life and woes of the Cameron family and the tribulations that accompanied the Civil war. The story is narrated by Kiernan Mackay, a vivacious and beautiful neighbor of the Cameron’s, and one who has had her eyes set on the eldest Cameron brother, Jesse, for a long time. Fate brings them together eventually, but their joy is cut short by the secession of their Native Virginia from the Union. They find themselves on opposite sides of the war, and their loyalties in the war cause an irreparable damage to their relationship. Jesse, who is an army surgeon, goes off to the north leaving Kiernan in the small town of Harper’s Ferry. It is only a matter of time before they both start questioning the wisdom of their decision, and whether or not they should let the war stand in the way of what they have.

The series received critical acclaim for the vivid and admirably accurate narration of the occurrences during the civil war. Simply put, it is a well-researched novel. Character development in the books is also great, and so is the gripping story line. Every romantic will certainly find this book fascinating.

Krewe of Hunters: This series is a beautiful blend of romance and mystery. Key characters in the series are Jackson Crow and Angela Hawkins. Jackson is dogged by the death of two of his teammates. Angela on the other hand is an investigations officer who is endowed with paranormal abilities. She already has her hands full of mysteries to solve when another extremely intriguing death occurs, and she cannot resist the temptation to try and solve it. A senator’s wife is found dead, with all the evidence pointing to the fact that she jumped over a balcony. However, developments in the story make it probable that she was pushed over the balcony. Or is it the ghosts that inhibit this house that was once a torture house that lure the lady to jumping over the balcony? Angela and Jackson try to solve this mystery and in the midst of it all, they find themselves falling deeply in love. They are constantly risking not just their lives, but their immortal souls as well.
