Best Jeff Lindsay Books

Darkly Dreaming Dexter: The first book that features Dexter Morgan. Dexter Morgan appears to be an average man who from time to time can be quite charming. However, underneath his veneer of graciousness, is an exceedingly dark secret, one that tends to force him to kill. Dexter is defined by an exceedingly dark past that is so damaging to his mind. To him, crime is justified, and he functions beyond the rules of the normal society. Dexter can be compared to Robin Hood because he only kills people who are bad.

The Robin Hood trait endears Dexter to his followers and also in the process offers salvation for his sins. Lindsay did manage to amalgamate this exceedingly amazing and provoking characterization with an exceedingly perfect job for a villain and a hero being one. Being a proficient in blood spatter and also working for the Miami Police Department, Dexter is presented with an opportunity to nourish his obsession. Dexter not only has access to the perpetrators but also to the records and victims as well.
