BEST BRANDON SANDERSON BOOKS
These are two best books by Brandon Sanderson, Elantris & The Final Empire.
Elantris: Elantris was the capital the gigantic Arelon; it was filled with kindhearted beings that used their super magical abilities for the benefit of everyone. Each of every demigod was once an ordinary person until a mysterious power of the Shaod touched them.
Now it has been ten years since the magic they possessed failed. The electricians became powerless creatures, wizened, leper-like and darkness befell Elentris.
Princess Sarene of Teod arrives in the new capital of Arelon for a marriage with Prince Raoden; she instead finds out that his soon to be husband has died and now she is considered a widow. Arelon and Teod are considered as threats by the ruthless religious fanatics of Fjordell.
So Sarene decides to use her newly acquired state to counterattack the efforts of Hrathen, a high priest who has arrived at Kae to transform Arelon and claim it for its god and his empire. However, neither Hrathen nor Sarene knows the truth about Prince Raoden- that his father exiled him and his efforts to help the people trapped in the dark city triggers a series of events that will bring a flick of hope to Arelon and reveal the dark secret of Elantris.
The Final Empire: In a world where mist dominates the night and ash fall from the sky, evil hangs loosely over the land and chokes all life. Future and hope of the empire rest on a trouble maker and his rookie. Working together can they color the world as it was before?
